Gilding the Queen's Queens Robing Room in Westiminster Palace. With 12 DBR conservators and gilders our job was to clean, restore and re-gold all the gilding in the room. After two months of preparation, cleaning and sanding the old gold, we finally layed the first leaves of genuine 23.5ct gold. Gilding the Sovereigns Robing Room. Aug-Dec 2014.
